MICA ® IL-640 and IL-6400 new components for better performance

The most popular MICA® rechargeable handlamp is getting a significant upgrade. The MICA® IL-640 now features an upgraded circuit board for improved power delivery and management to the latest high-quality CREE LEDs.

With these new components, MICA ® IL-640 delivers 760 lumens in high power mode, an increase of over 25%. The low power mode output also gets a useful 10% increase.  We’ve thoroughly testing the new configuration to ensure you get the same reliable output over the lifetime of the handlamp.

Even with the higher lumens, we have been able to maintain the same battery life as the previous generation. You get up to 8 hours of full power mode, and a solid 24 hours with lower power mode.

We are rolling out these upgrades to our MICA® IL-6400 model as well. With this mode, the normal power modes see moderate improvements, while the special boost feature gets, well, a real boost – 1600 lumens, a +40% jump in brightness!
