UKCA

Short for UK Conformity Assessed. The UKCA marking is a new compliance requirement for the markets of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales). The UK government has introduced this marking for post-Brexit trade. UKCA generally corresponds to the CE product marking of the EU.

For the time being, ATEX products imported to the UK can continue to be sold with the CE marking. However, product certifications and markings will soon need to include UKCA. for the latest information on when imported products must use the UKCA marking (below), please visit GOV.UK.
